SET DESIGN
I designed and created the entire set for “21 Chump Street,” which was a 14-minute, one act musical written by Lin-Manuel Miranda performed at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The set piece shown here was six-feet tall and was created primarily using spray-paint techniques.
collage
I designed this “edgier” collage from various individual art pieces and posters.
The collage stands almost five-feet tall and was designed with mixed media, including acrylic paint, spray paint, drawings, and posterboard.
DRAWING
I created this black-and-white pen drawing with fine details and an organized collection of visual elements.
Growing up, I created countless drawings like this (with color). Each drawing contains a unique design.
Painting
I created this acrylic painting on a 16×20 canvas during an Art class.
I adopted Van Gogh’s famous “Starry Night” vibe and added some gold paint strokes/flecks to make the painting shimmer depending on how the light hit it.
Painting
I created this abstract painting for my Art class using pencils and watercolors.
The scene depicts boats on Lake Mendota at sunset near the University of Wisconsin-Madison Memorial Union.
Painting
I created this acrylic painting on a 16×20 canvas during an Art class.
My goal was to create a soft, relaxing scene with a pop of color in the foreground to attract the viewer’s attention.
Artwork
I created this artwork for my Art class. It is intended to show a contrast between love and hate, and invites the viewer to consider what is depicted.
I used mixed paint media for this artwork, including watercolors and acrylic paint.
